IT’S SO CUTE.
“@Linkara19: @Gothamette You’re on twitter?! EEEE! JLA/Titans: The Technis Imperative is my favorite story ever and it got me into comics! =D”
THEN STOP FUCKING PUTTING BARBARA AS BATGIRL IN EVERYTHING. Could not ONE of those various Batman cartoons have used Cass instead? Hell there was a recent attempt to do a Batman Family cartoon WITH Cass and Warner axed it for some reason.

HEY, PEPPER, I’M JUST GOING TO REBLOG EVERYTHING YOU POST FOR THE NEXT HOUR, IS THAT OKAY WITH YOU?
Why?
Spoilers below (except not the Spoiler you’re looking for) and also Trauma Warnings for violence.
They showed Babs being shot. Again. Why is it that every time they have to talk about her being shot by the Joker, they show it in detail, with her body flying back and blood…
I’m still not interested in this book in the slightest, and it’s not even Steph losing the role or how I feel Gail has basically sold out to write this, it’s the completely idiotic attitude of DC when it comes to this reboot, and the feeling that it’s being half-assed and biased on the behalf if those in charge.
They screech about iconography and redo everyone’s costumes to look like a 90’s nightmare. They talk about simplification and there’s four Robins in five years, nothing changes for Batman and Green Lantern is going to be incomprehensible to new readers because it follows five years of stories.
And now this. Gail gets to weaken a character by regressing her to, basically, her worst point. I can see issue upon issue of fucking Joker nightmares now, just so DC can continue to dwell upon and sell a story that the writer himself loathes.
The news article makes it the biggest joke of all - the iconic Batgirl from over two decades ago is back, and DC predominantly wants to appeal to a market younger than that. This could be the best book in the world, frankly, and I’d ignore it because it’s another regression to the Silver Age by a group of men who completely misunderstand that age of comics and think it needs a good heaping of blood and gore.

THIS. Everything up there.

Yes, even if you are a woman, you must shout that you are a man. Otherwise it doesn’t work.

AJKSLDAS CRAZY STEVE. I swear one day I will give into Jim Lee’s beautiful artwork and just laugh and internally tear away at Miller’s writing and story. But. Jim. Y u no used better. …Wait you told me Outsiders was bad. …whut.
>xDDD Crazy Steve. There needs to be a gif for that. ….I wonder if there are Goddamn Batman gifs out there somewhere.
Uh, Batman and the Outsiders. I think it was. I think I might have brought it up because Cassandra was out of character? ….I really don’t remember. >xDDD
<xDDDD I’M SORRY. FJSDKLFJDSL.
AND YES, WE DO.
I have a list.

Amen to men who look like men!!! *high five* BUT WHY DOES THE ANIMATION HAVE TO BE SO GORGEOUS IF THE WRITING IS CRAP? WHY??? Ugh. Curse scriptwriters. Anywho, I’ll definitely check those out, if I can find them. :) Thanks!
I will cling to all of their arms. *high fives back*
I DON’T KNOW, it’s the same thing with All-Star Batman and Robin. It’s Frank Miller’s God-awful writing with Jim Lee’s gorgeous penciling/illustrations and it just KILLS you. It’s just not fair. You barely seem to get the best of both worlds with these things. It fails.
Yeah, I need to get more Outsiders comics myself, because it’s Dick and Roy on the same team and also has Lian on the side. They have to be the older ones, though, because I don’t know if Royboy’s in the new ones. *squints* …but yeah. They’re pretty good! And Outsiders #44 and 45 have Jason in them. In which he is also awesome.

Ew, mullet? Yuck. AND YES THE ROY HAIR. I must admit I like shorter hair MUCH more than long hair…. Though I’ve a bit of a soft spot for brunettes, for some reason. XDDD I need to watch/read more stuff with Roy, don’t I? What is he in, anyway?
Short hair will always be a win, for it is manlier and I like men who look like men.
YES YOU DO. Uh.
DON’T WATCH YOUNG JUSTICE. DON’T DO IT. I know Harper is attractive as heck

….gosh dangit. —UM.
But from what I’ve seen he’s obnoxious and always whining about something and being over dramatic and it’s annoying. Like most of Young Justice, he’s just there to look pretty and be a visual distraction from the crap-writing. So. Don’t do it. As tempting as it might be.
I honestly don’t have a lot of comics with him in it, if not because I don’t really know where to start looking when it comes to the Arrow family. I know Green Arrow has his own line of comics, but, I think Mia is the Speedy during that. …I dunno if Roy’s ever had his own comic-line. …don’t ever read Cry for Justice or Rise of Arsenal. Just don’t.
Most of my own Roy-characterization stuff comes from the few Teen Titans episodes he was in and just…taking raw info from that and a few things from researching his history and building off of that. And a few comic snippets I’ve found online.
When it comes to the animated series and crap, I think Teen Titans was…closest to being accurate by far. I’ve already stated my opinion on Young Justice. And Batman: Brave and the Bold is a parody. >xD It’s like an animated Adam West series. So yeah. I’ll look into actual comics…because I would like to read more with him running around in them. I think The Outsiders is a good place to read around in, ‘cause he was one of the head members—AND you get to see some of his interactions with Lian…which are friggen adorable. I have 3 Outsiders comics… #11, 12 and …19. And I want more. :I
…I’ll stop ranting now.
>xDDD Oh my gosh <3
I find his personality attractive (most of the time), yes, but in the comics he typically has college-boy hair (as my mom calls it), which I don’t find as attractive, and in B:TAS he had a mullet.

I don’t know why they gave him Roy-hair in Under the Red Hood. I don’t think Dick’s ever had short hair like that…not in any pictures I’ve seen….
Roy-hair, Maggie.
ROY HAIR.
